Last Saturday I went on my first Lowell Kinetic Sculpture Race and it was awesome.
To whom like me doesn’t know what a kinetic sculpture race is here is the description from the race’s website (http://lowellkinetic.com): “Kinetic Sculptures are all-terrain, human-powered, art sculptures, engineered to race over road, water, mud and sand. Many are animated with moving parts like blinking eyes, opening mouths, heads that move side to side and up and down. These machines of art are usually made from what some people consider “junk” or better put, recycled materials. “
Pretty amazing don’t you think?
Here are some images I captured while enjoying the delicious food from the food trucks & Live Music featuring Bo Joeman and the Sarcasmatics
Great job directors Michael Roundy and Bianca Mauro.
